Suki Bamboo

Suki Bamboo (alias Bianca Angela Litscher) started in 1992 developing her own typical illustrative style: a mixture of hand drawing and digital design. Her works have/show both, a romantic and a provocative and rough side. Influenced by many different impressions like urban streetart, modern design, belle epoque or art nouveau, Suki Bamboo is always focused on formal aesthetics and color harmony. A free-minded, creative, concentrated on the essential and transfering inner pictures - these are the characteristics of Suki Bamboo and her work.

She experiments with various new techniques and media and on this way she discovers a fresh creative space. She presents painted or plotted illustrations on canvases, screen prints, drawhings on paper on many exhibitions all over the world. Moreover she was a member of the international Graffiti Stick Up Kids together with the two swiss writers Shark and Mate , to which also two german Graffiti-artists DAIM and Can2 belonged. Also her name Zora became famous – she is one of the popular persons in the Rap-subculture.. From 1993 till 2002 she published 13 albums, among them is also the one, made in cooperation with the german rap artist Thomas D.
