When beautiful pictures are exposed and lots of people appear, a lot of them appear with a camera. One of them is Hannes Domdey, who always manages it to capture special moments and to see that what happened with a unique point of view.

Until 0:30 O'clock Kyrill non-wearily printed his brought along T-Shirts, jackets and bags. The Oneof Them Crew Mike Driessen , Malte Kuttler and Oliver van Lynn didn't let any wish unsatisfied and worked their asses off!

Next to the Kyrill performance the visitors could see Artwork from Roman Klonek, Jojo Ensslin, Mexer, SLOWBOY, moh one., Kj263 and Moki.

Here are the first pictures of the vernissage

On Friday the serigraphy artists of One of them the printing tree Kyrill to the Pretty Portal. Unfortunately Kyrill was a little too big and so he had to be cut down to get through the entrance. 

Now Kyrill, covered in tissues, is standing in our gallery and waits to be revealed on Friday.

While O.Raeke is still in the process of removing his installation and to whitening back the walls, the designers from One of Them have already begun with the setup of the next exhibition.

For "One of Them vs Kyrill" Mike Driessen, Malte Kuttler and Oliver van Lynn Kyrill will transport thr printing tree named Kyrill to the Pretty Portal. He will then dilligently prettify all the brought along textiles with the motives of the One of Them artists at the vernissage on 27th  July.

Hannes Domdey did a few photographies of the exhibition "Strom" and its exponates.

The limited to 50 pieces Electrical Panels and Etchings are not yet sold out and they can be purchased in the gallery for the price of 80,- Euro apiece.

To make the installation of O.Raeke's exhibition possible, we had to do several telephone calls to a bunch of employees at the Statdwerke (public services)
and the Awista (waste management). Because of the fast cooperativeness of the public services we could get some  power distribution boxes as a start. In matters of  providing the electrical panels the waste management conceived to throw a whole container between the young Streetart scene's legs.
With the argument "What's once in the disposal circuit, is not allowed to be taken out of it." the assured electrical panels marched finally to the dump.

It's still a question to us all, why the waste managment disapproved. Is it really about the emerging of loss in sales because of the deficit of the electrical panels? Have the former public servants now become two-fisted business economist's? I don't think so.

The public services still want to support us as soon as possible and will collect electrical panels for us on their compound.

The exhibition by the artist O.Raeke was dedicated to the theme "Strom" (transl.:electricity).

During the exhibition exponate after exponate poured into our gallery.
At the vernissage many visitors came to gaze at the big and small electrical panels and a room-filling mural.

The first exhibition at the Pretty Portal shows the complete portfolio of Mark and Joe Henning aka the Majo Brothers.

Both artists, who already enriched  Düsseldorf's cityscape at diverse places,  were totaly pleased about the great feedback they got for their artworks.
